Book Concept
This scene was inspired by my visit to a little town south of Prague named Cesky Krumlov. The story is about a little french lady bug named Marcellus who travels across Europe to learn more about life outside of France. This book teaches children about cultural diversity and how to greet in several different European languages.

Book Concept
I developed this character and story as a children's book. My simplified drawn character, Muesli is a hand sewn toy made for a young boy by his grandmother. Initially excited, the young boy Tommy embraces Muesli but soon casts him aside for a brand new shiny red truck. The story is developed throughout the four seasons and is set in a heavily overdrawn world. Muesli and Tommy are reunited and form a beautiful friendship when he discovers that there is more to Muesli than meets the eye.
